If you're using a PSO2 body

Well, I am presuming for anything that doesn't immediately port out, the question boils down to if that mechanic has some reason to exist. I'm assuming that the gathering system (or at least the one we have) is not likely to be in NGS, at least release. Probably same with all the crafting system. So there won't really be sufficient items to utilize a material storage for.

Body paint has the exact same limit as other clothes: if you're using a PSO2 body, then it's still possible to use PSO2 body paint. If you're using an NGS physique, it is possible to just use NGS body paint. Once you equip an NGS outfit/basewear/innerwear item, you can not use any PSO2 clothing"mixed and matched" with all the NGS stuff. You have to commit to 1 game's fashion for clothing/body paint.

You may own different"Inventory" between PSO2 and PSO2:NGS, and information about expansions Won't be shared."" All"Storage" information including expansions, but excluding the"Alliance Storage", and"Meseta Storage", will be shared" I am really concerned about the"skill tree addition" one being recorded as"serves another function" from the update. Just because so much we know mags don't have any stat advantage today. My biggest concern is they are going to strip out major components like the skill trees and subclassing and be like every other MMO out there today emptiness of options. Edit: I know this could be innocuous as it might mean they are just different talents or certain classes may not be 1:1, but I keep worrying we're going to have yet another WoW or FF14 on our hands where they gradually cut everything that is not cosmetic out of this game.

The more likely situation based on info we have been given and what we've seen in the trailer is classes will be different and consequently ability trees won't be the exact same in NGS. You are not going to have a really big set of level restricted classes in NGS like you do now in PSO2, none of that is moving at all. NGS will get brand new courses and thus new skill trees or differing development elements entirely so obviously it"serves a different functions".

They have even said camos for firearms that"do not exist" in NGS can't be used which implies that they have different plans for the available weapon choices in NGS. He skill tree system needed an overhaul anyway. It is rife with"you must select that or you totally f'd up your tree", and united with not being able to reset unless a special event handout or paying to an additional, generates a a situation where everyone has to be the same build. It's an illusion of freedom and there are very many ways to better balance a development system with valid development options which truly help you distinguish your character without making yourself legally inferior.
